Customers can purchase J&T courier service through a website, application, or place an order at the nearest Drop Point branch manually. Once an order from the customer is received, J&T staff will do order processing in order to deliver the customer’s parcels.
Order
processing is represented by a number of activities included in the customer
order cycle. J&T Express literally go through each of the flow in order
processing:
1. Order
preparation.
A customer
comes to the branch to drop off the parcels. They will fill the order form with
the help of a J&T sales representative. The order form will be processed
and submitted to the system.
2. Order
transmittal
J&T will
proceed with order transmittal. This process includes transferring customer
information into order entry. The customer able to give information about the
parcels, the sender and receiver address with contact number.
3. Order
entry.
J&T staff
is directed to check whether the parcel can be delivered or not. The parcels
should not contain prohibited or harmful goods such as drugs. If the parcel has
been approved by J&T, there is no order cancellation to be made.
4. Order filling.
Order
filling is the process of delivering parcels to customers. J&T set up a
schedule for delivering the parcels to the customer. In addition, J&T must
carry out shipping document preparation include a bill of lading and insurance
to deliver the parcel of premium goods. Bill of lading serves as proof of
